moreporks adaptaion

Title: how moreporks adapt to its environment.



General statement:
Moreporks are small animals that live at live in New Zealand forests with lots of trees. They grow with a lot of changes in their body so that they can fit themselves in the changed habitat.  



Structural adaptation
Moreporks have small wings to fly they also have big eyes and big talents to see in the dark and to grab onto the trees and to catch bugs. Moreporks look like brown chocolate  with two eyes.

Behavioural adaptation
Moreporks use their sharp claws to hunt down  Prey and grip on the trees
They have big eyes to see in the dark
They also have small wings to fit into small spaces though the leaves to help them catch their prey easily.

Physiological adaptation
Moreporks were small creatures that look like fluffy chocolate balls.

Moreporks come from New Zealand.
Moreporks have big yellow eyes to see
in the dark. They have fluffy feathers to stay warm. They also have very sharp talents to hunt prey such as bugs, small birds and mice. The Moreporks are the only remaining native owl species in New Zealand.The Morepork is 26-29 cm in length. the female is slightly bigger than the male.  
Moreporks live in the exotic forests of christchurch (New Zealand)  
I think the morepork is an amazing Animal.
