Title: how moreporks adapt to its environment.

General statement:

Moreporks are small animals that live at live in New Zealand forests with lots of trees. They grow with a lot of changes in their body so that they can fit themselves in the changed habitat.  

Structural adaptation

Moreporks have small wings to fly they also have big eyes and big talents to see in the dark and to grab onto the trees and to catch bugs. Moreporks look like brown chocolate  with two eyes.

Behavioural adaptation

Moreporks use their sharp claws to hunt down  Prey and grip on the trees

They have big eyes to see in the dark

They also have small wings to fit into small spaces though the leaves to help them catch their prey easily.

Physiological adaptation

Moreporks were small creatures that look like fluffy chocolate balls.

Moreporks come from New Zealand.

Moreporks have big yellow eyes to see

in the dark. They have fluffy feathers to stay warm. They also have very sharp talents to hunt prey such as bugs, small birds and mice. The Moreporks are the only remaining native owl species in New Zealand.The Morepork is 26-29 cm in length. the female is slightly bigger than the male.  

Moreporks live in the exotic forests of christchurch (New Zealand)  

I think the morepork is an amazing Animal.

Once there were two boys named dj creeper

and Farland Tamer. They were explorers until

they got captured Herobrine and his crew.






Chapter 1


“Where's my trident and my diamonds??”


Said Dj Creeper “I don’t know” said Far land

Tamer “but I don’t know where my


diamond armor is. Look it's Herobrine with

our loot” said Farland Tamer “and look it’s

also a wither storm and it’s controlling

Herobrine”


“Oh no, now he’s true evil without the wither


storm controlling it” said Dj Creeper.








Chapter 2


When the wither storm left Herobrine was

so evil. “Look an Iron Golems parts when

they die! Herobrine's close” said Farland

Tamer “yep” said Dj Creeper. After that


Ice Skeleton and Farland Tamer went to their treehouse to get some resources like a carrot, two diamonds and and a bow.





Chapter 3


They went off to find Herobrine and


the wither storm. On their way they found someone named Steve “Steve what happened to you?” said Farland Tamer “a big wither storm past” said Steve. “Wow! we want to find that thing and kill it” said Dj Creeper “can you hear it? it’s over there” said Farland Tamer





Chapter 4


“Their eating pigs! lets kill him before Herobrine comes” said Far land Tamer. “There he is! I’ll just put a formidi bomb next to Herobine then I need a flint and steel


to light it. Now move back guys” said DJ Creeper “It’s going to blow!” said Far land Tamer … KABOOM!

In the weekend my family and I went to the bird park in Keri -Keri called the Parrot Place. When we went in, I could hear all the birds squawking and screeching for food. The person in the front counter gave us food to feed the birds. You can hold some birds as well.
The birds there were lots of different colours. One of them was eating almonds on my head. It was fun going to the Parrot Place.

Have you ever been bullied or had people say mean things
to you on the internet? If they have, you've experienced cyber bullying. 

Cyber bullying is when you or Someone else has been called mean things on the internet. Cyber bullying can normally happen when you’re in your teenage years. If you get cyber bullied, the best thing to do is to tell your parents or someone you trust in your life, such as a teacher or a friend.

If you receive any bad messages, please don’t reply mean things back. If you do, you will just make things worse. If people on social media do stuff like this to you, you know what to do now.

I am on a mission to save the sharks. There are many types of sharks. To name a few, there are sharks known as the blue shark, smooth hound shark, short fin mako and many more. The blue shark is one of the most over fished shark species. The smooth Hound Sharks are one of the most important of sharks because they balance the ecosystem by eating crabs and small fish. The short fin mako sharks are the fastest of all the sharks. They can swim up to 45-60 miles per hour. Sharks are important to the ocean and the food chain. They are important because they eat smaller fishes that eat corals. If we don't have sharks all the coral eaters (fish) will eat all the corals and without corals the food source for other ocean creatures will be gone. We must protect sharks. We can protect them by not fishing them and not supporting the cruel manner of shark fining or else one of nature's predators will become extinct forever.

In the holidays I got to have Snowboard lessons because in July me and my family are going to the mountains.
First my teacher taught us to stop and turn then we went down a small mountain. We had to take turns to go down.
After a few days I mastered turning and stopping. We got to go on the chairlift to the top of Snow planet. It was scary at first. When I went down it was fun and I even jumped off the ramp!
I had a fun week at Snow planet. I hope I could go there again.

The Floating Castle

One middle of the day or afternoon, there was an army of Barbarians,and chimichanga. They wanted to kill the kind and caring KING. The king knew that the barbarians and chimichanga hated him.Because he ruled the land but there was a problem. The Barbarians had tied chains under the kingdom. Because they couldn't kill the king. He had guards. So they wanted to float him away. So they did.

Easter Holidays

On my Easter holidays my family and I went to Inglewood to see my old neighbours at a farm that they owned. The only animal that was on the farm were the cows.

The fun part was that I got to ride a dirt bike to help round up the cows to the paddock. They even had a track that led to the paddock. 

I had so much fun at Inglewood. I hope I can visit them again.

My Trip to Rarotonga

In the weekend me and my family went to Rarotonga. When we arrived it was way early in the morning so we went to sleep.

Later on me and my mum woke up and had a shower. After that we had breakfast. Me and my mum had a quick walk on the beach. Mum meet up with someone on the beach and they were talking. I saw a hermit crab. I showed it to my mum and she said “Wow!”

I asked my mum if I could snorkel and she said “yes”.
